Professional Biography
Angela Champion combines her roles as an entrepreneur, business mentor, and seasoned leader with over two decades of experience in IT & Cyber Security. Since 1989, she has honed her expertise in telecommunications, infrastructure, and managed services on an international scale.
She’s an active AICD member, co-chair of the TAFE Queensland Higher Education Cyber Course Advisory Committee, and a contributor to various boards in the cyber, tech, and startup sectors.
As CEO of White Rook Cyber, Angela helps organisations translate technical vulnerabilities into clear business risks, promoting cyber resilience with an emphasis on governance and compliance.

William Ulyate brings over 17 years of expertise in defence and cyber security to his role at White Rook Cyber, which he co-founded in 2022.
Renowned for his advisory work with government, military, and enterprise clients, Will possesses a deep understanding of global security challenges, with a specialised focus on cyber-crime and threat intelligence.
His leadership at White Rook Cyber centres on developing tailored security strategies that resonate with organizational objectives. Complementing his cyber security commitments, William serves as Vice President of Parkinson’s Queensland and holds positions on various technology and startup sector boards.

Professional Biography
Billy is the Director of Offensive Security at White Rook Cyber. He has over 5 years of experience as a dedicated penetration tester, working across various technologies and architectures. A subject matter expert on Web Application and Active Directory Penetration Testing, Billy is proficient in chaining together multiple low-risk vulnerabilities into complex and devastating attack chains. He is able to use to the latest techniques and tools to ensure organisations are capable of withstanding attack from modern advanced persistent threats.
Whether it’s a web application, an Active Directory environment, or a company’s Internet-accessible infrastructure, Billy can effectively demonstrate the risk and identify remediation plans for clients. Previous experience includes security engineering, focused on firewalls and identity management solutions. Billy has co-organised Sec Talks Brisbane since 2019, which is a monthly technical InfoSec meetup for all interest and experience levels.
